Full Photo Graphics
Graphics that need to be put out quickly can be nerve-racking and stressful, so creating a consistent look can help alleviate some of that stress. Leaving a lot of negative space above the athlete’s head allows for plenty of space to put a lot of text without any worry.
Game Day Graphics
Since gameday graphics can get repetitive if the same style of photo is used, I wanted to try and allow for some variety. The simple type alignment allows for the information to be clear for viewers but remains visually interesting.
Cowboys Social Rebrand
The Cowboy’s social media is consistent but doesn’t capture the legacy of the Cowboys. The Cowboys don’t need to be all flashy to make a statement, so simplicity was key. A lot of teams’ branding can be super hectic and in your face, so being simple gives viewers something different on their feeds which makes them stop and look for a second. Simple and clean type, with more dynamic and blurred photos, creates an interesting contrast while maintaining legibility. Dallas is home to iconic athletes so simplifying the type lets the players shine. The smoke/dust reminds me of a Texas ranch and provides some depth. Overall I think this is successful and can be grown more and more. I think pairing this style with some crazy and dynamic photography will allow for it to truly shine!
One-Off Graphics
One-off graphics are always a good way to show some of the versatility the brand offers. I don’t think that using multiple cutouts works the best with this look, but it could be done. The consistent look with the post-processing really allows for a wide variety of play while still remaining consistent.
